Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Janusz Niedzwiecki started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Red Army's Izydor Ludwa got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After having played for 6 minutes, Fernando Morientes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpia HSB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Morientes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute Artur Walczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Konopka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lech Konopka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Lech Konopka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Czeszejko went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Fabian Czeszejko succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Lech Konopka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Czeszejko, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Fabian Czeszejko took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lech Konopka. Lech Konopka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Benedykt Majewski kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Olimpia HSB got a freekick which was hit by Calito Izquierdoz. After some careless play in the Red Army defense, Fabian Czeszejko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lech Konopka. The Red Army fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lech Konopka should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Emil Debowski in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Olimpia HSB's Fernando Morientes. In the 47th minute, Fabian Czeszejko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Olimpia HSB were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Czeszejko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Fabian Czeszejko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olimpia HSB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Lech Konopka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Czeszejko went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Tobiasz Kalak charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobiasz Kalak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute, Tobiasz Kalak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lech Konopka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Lech Konopka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Czeszejko's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Olimpia HSB got a corner. Red Army's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Morientes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Olimpia HSB's Leon Piekarczyk to fire away a dangerous shot which Lech Konopka despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Fabian Czeszejko notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Red Army's Lech Konopka. Lech Konopka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lech Konopka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Czeszejko went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. Olimpia HSB's Jacek Pietrowiak was substituted for Fabian Czeszejko. Olimpia HSB's Zbyszko Skorny was substituted for Artur Walczak. In the 81st minute, Jacek Pietrowiak made a precise shot to the right of Lech Konopka. Red Army's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Jacek Pietrowiak took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Lech Konopka to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacek Pietrowiak in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lech Konopka saved Red Army from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Jacek Pietrowiak notched a goal, 0-15, to the right of Red Army's Lech Konopka. Lech Konopka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacek Pietrowiak might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lech Konopka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacek Pietrowiak ran back to his position shaking his head. Lech Konopka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Pietrowiak in the 96th minute of play. The supporters of Olimpia HSB booed when Red Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobiasz Kalak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olimpia HSB's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
