The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marseille's Cyrille Melon made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saverio Fernado was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyrille Melon in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saverio Fernado saved Kilometro 30 from getting behind. Cyrille Melon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saverio Fernado having to make a save. Saverio Fernado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Renan Bouzat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 14 minute of play. Cyrille Melon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Saverio Fernado came out and tried to block the shot, but Cyrille Melon slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 20th minute. With his leg Saverio Fernado managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when R.C. Marseille's Cyrille Melon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 24 minutes into the match, Kilometro 30's goal looked a bit too open when Cyrille Melon came free, but Saverio Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyrille Melon in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saverio Fernado saved Kilometro 30 from getting behind. In the 29th play minute Cyrille Melon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Saverio Fernado. 6-0. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Cyrille Melon put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Saverio Fernado. 38 minutes into the match, Cyrille Melon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saverio Fernado. Kilometro 30's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyrille Melon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Cyrille Melon took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saverio Fernado. Saverio Fernado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. After 46 minutes, Cyrille Melon made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kilometro 30's Saverio Fernado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 10-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Porres to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Cyrille Melon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saverio Fernado was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Renan Bouzat scored 11-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saverio Fernado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marseille made a substitution. Djibril Mourot replaced Mihail Toader. In the 71st minute, Cyrille Melon made a precise shot to the right of Saverio Fernado. Kilometro 30's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 14-0. After 74 minutes, Cyrille Melon made it 15-0 with a short kick to the right side.
