Maximo Godoy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İstemihan Günay went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A nice corner shot did that İstemihan Günay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maximo Godoy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With an all-out effort, Maden FC's Maximo Godoy threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Octavio Carballo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Maden FC booed when New Pi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stamatis Papadopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes, Maden FC's Zekai Atay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximo Godoy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maden FC reached it. 18 minutes into the match, New Pi's goalkeeper Maximo Godoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octavio Carballo. The supporters of Maden FC booed when New Pi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Tibalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute Octavio Carballo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Carballo in the 24th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, New Pi's goal looked a bit too open when İstemihan Günay came free, but Maximo Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, İstemihan Günay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Maximo Godoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Carballo in the 36th minute of play forced New Pi's goalkeeper Maximo Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Octavio Carballo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Pi's Maximo Godoy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Maden FC got a corner. New Pi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zekai Atay ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jorge Osorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Hontoria having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octavio Carballo to strike the kick off in the second half. Maximo Godoy came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Maden FC's Octavio Carballo. But to his dismay, Octavio Carballo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. New Pi's Set Fernando was substituted for Generoso Artizar. Maximo Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Carballo in the 67th minute of the match. After 68 minutes New Pi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zekai Atay who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Maden FC booed when New Pi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Set Fernando didn't get a good kick on the ball. New Pi's Leandro Tibalt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luizão Ramos, made in the 76th minute of the game. Maximo Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Carballo in the 78th minute of play. When Roque Argina came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the New Pi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Argina couldn't finish the play. Maximo Godoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Osoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Osoro in the 87th minute of play forced New Pi's goalkeeper Maximo Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Maden FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Eliodor Stoica hit a great ball. In the 92nd match minute, New Pi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamatis Papadopoulos to maneuver through the defense.
