In the 15th minute Teodoro Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Lalchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, MANCHESTER UNITED's Denko Gervazov made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Ceni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klement Harasimowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Teodoro Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in MANCHESTER UNITED's zone, Teodoro Hartz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Lalchev came out of the goal and Teodoro Hartz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Hartz in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Lalchev saved MANCHESTER UNITED from getting behind. Teodoro Hartz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Lalchev having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Carroll Mansfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cumhur Günay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Anton Lalchev made a huge save. After some careless play in the MANCHESTER UNITED defense, Teodoro Hartz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anton Lalchev. The MANCHESTER UNITED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Lalchev should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Hartz got free with Anton Lalchev in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Klement Harasimowicz to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of MANCHESTER UNITED booed when Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carroll Mansfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klement Harasimowicz in the 55th minute of play forced Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Herbert Pracki was substituted for Teodoro Hartz. In the 64th minute of the match Belgrano LOS PIRATAS got a corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herbert Pracki in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Lalchev saved MANCHESTER UNITED from getting behind. Luis Advíncula kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's attentive Edu Dum managed to snatch the ball when Luis Advíncula made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Herbert Pracki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Pracki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Lalchev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 minutes MANCHESTER UNITED's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carroll Mansfield who took care of the corner kick. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Carroll Mansfield was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anton Lalchev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 92 minutes into the match, Herbert Pracki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Lalchev. MANCHESTER UNITED's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herbert Pracki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
