An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Svensson in the 43rd minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Markus Fågel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan-Erik Tunberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Polly Magoo Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils-Åke Wickander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Markus Fågel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Hedberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Polly Magoo Juniors defense, Rikard Wolff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Fågel. The Polly Magoo Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Fågel should have stopped the shot. After 80 played minutes Real Södertälje got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Baican. Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Polly Magoo Juniors from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel got control of the ball when Nils-Åke Wickander tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Rikard Wolff had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Fågel.
