The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Primeiro got free with Gianluigi Donnarumma in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edwin Van den Bossche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gianluigi Donnarumma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hakkı Kenan Kökten fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AdanaSpor 2010's protests and gave Hakkı Kenan Kökten a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, AdanaSpor 2010 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Kenan Kökten to maneuver through the defense. Gianluigi Donnarumma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwin Van den Bossche in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inocencio Primeiro in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gianluigi Donnarumma saved AdanaSpor 2010 from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Inocencio Primeiro put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gianluigi Donnarumma. Gianluigi Donnarumma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Van den Bossche in the 24th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Göksel Enginalp in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hornbosteler SV's Philipp Darmstadt. Francesc Totti's late challenge caught a Hornbosteler SV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francesc Totti helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hornbosteler SV booed when AdanaSpor 2010 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesc Totti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, AdanaSpor 2010's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Van den Bossche came free, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maura Icardi in the 45th minute of play forced Hornbosteler SV's goalkeeper Fredo Rösch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwin Van den Bossche scored 2-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gianluigi Donnarumma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Hornbosteler SV's Friedemann Hettlich suffered a concussion in the 53rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 53 minutes into the game, Alesandro Del Piero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AdanaSpor 2010's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hornbosteler SV the free kick. Hornbosteler SV's Oswald Reifer was substituted for Friedemann Hettlich. Gianluigi Donnarumma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Van den Bossche, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Inocencio Primeiro got in the 60th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gianluigi Donnarumma handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Gianluigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oriano Junco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Oriano Junco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, AdanaSpor 2010's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Van den Bossche came free, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hakkı Kenan Kökten was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to AdanaSpor 2010 getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Hakkı Kenan Kökten hit a great ball. 刘思辉 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Donnarumma having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in AdanaSpor 2010's zone, Inocencio Primeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gianluigi Donnarumma came out of the goal and Inocencio Primeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fredo Rösch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maura Icardi in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Hornbosteler SV's goal looked a bit too open when Maura Icardi came free, but Fredo Rösch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes AdanaSpor 2010 got a freekick which was hit by Alesandro Del Piero. When Edwin Van den Bossche came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Hornbosteler SV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwin Van den Bossche couldn't finish the play. Gianluigi Donnarumma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hornbosteler SV had played much better football throughout.
