Lions United's Pan Jian Yong got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Doriva Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fidel Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pan Jian Yong in the 13th minute of play. Fidel Sauveur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pan Jian Yong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th play minute Pan Jian Yong came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fidel Sauveur. 1-0. In the 25th minute, Pan Jian Yong made a precise shot to the right of Fidel Sauveur. Mala FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Fidel Sauveur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pan Jian Yong, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The Mala FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Sauveur should have stopped the shot. Mala FC's Doriva Jacinto got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute Pan Jian Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yetkin Müjdat hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Pan Jian Yong made the kick off in the second half. Caetano Guerreiro hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Pan Jian Yong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lions United's supporters rose to their feet, but Pan Jian Yong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Sauveur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pan Jian Yong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fidel Sauveur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pan Jian Yong, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pan Jian Yong in the 66th minute of play forced Mala FC's goalkeeper Fidel Sauveur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mala FC's Fidel Sauveur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Jian Yong in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Mala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pan Jian Yong came free, but Fidel Sauveur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Sauveur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lions United. Fidel Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pan Jian Yong in the 86th minute of play. Lions United's Ediberto Coelho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Caetano Guerreiro, made in the 89th minute of the game. Lions United's attentive Yetkin Müjdat managed to snatch the ball when Tadeu Trancoso made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. A collision led to Mala FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Caetano Guerreiro hit a great ball. Lions United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
