The corner led to PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Mao Yun Kun getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gigel Tilea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergiu Coșeriu in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laércio Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, Bertrand Hatun made a precise shot to the right of Gigel Tilea. Academia Rio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Coșeriu came free, but Laércio Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergiu Coșeriu was the one to do the kick off. Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Tillman in the 54th minute of play. After taking down the ball on PEÇONHENTO FC MG's corner Nelsinho Faria fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gigel Tilea quite easily take care of the ball. Laércio Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Şimonca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergiu Coșeriu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Laércio Trigo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgil Şimonca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Laércio Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in PEÇONHENTO FC MG's zone, Sergiu Coșeriu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laércio Trigo came out of the goal and Sergiu Coșeriu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute of the game, Jean Oltean landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evert Tillman during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Academia Rio's Aron Suşu was substituted for Jean Oltean. After a rather tough play, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Evert Tillman got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 79th match minute, Academia Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codrin Ionete to maneuver through the defense. Bertrand Hatun scored 3-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigel Tilea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olimpiu Dichiseanu scored 3-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laércio Trigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PEÇONHENTO FC MG had won after a very even match.
