In the 23rd minute, Qingdao Huanghai Fc's 张战昆 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Serbülent Baysan. Serbülent Baysan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 郑梁晨 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitaliy Fedchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Serbülent Baysan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Qingdao Huanghai Fc were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after FC Anderlecht Huachipato's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 庄义常 took the corner. A nice corner shot did that 庄义常 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Serbülent Baysan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Serbülent Baysan managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Qingdao Huanghai Fc's 方渊海 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 38th minute Hernán Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 郑梁晨 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baumar Ontanilla's late challenge caught a Qingdao Huanghai Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Qingdao Huanghai Fc booed when FC Anderlecht Huachipato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitaliy Fedchenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The Qingdao Huanghai Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 郑梁晨 should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FC Anderlecht Huachipato getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Felix Txilar hit a great ball. In the 87th minute 方渊海 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serbülent Baysan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Anderlecht Huachipato played a much better game than Qingdao Huanghai Fc and deserved their victory. The Qingdao Huanghai Fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
