Qingdao Huanghai Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia Rio the free kick. The supporters of Academia Rio booed when Qingdao Huanghai Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. 楚沙超 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Dorel Nedelciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 郑梁晨 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigel Tilea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 方渊海 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 90th minute, 董勇邦 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 郑梁晨 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Nedelciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Qingdao Huanghai Fc were victorious despite being under pressure from Academia Rio for much of the match.
