Richard Lentini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. HOSATO★★★★★VKRT's Junior Soprano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Testaferrata Viani in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyle Thake in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Junior Soprano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Floriana Celtics's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Godwin Montesin in the 22nd minute. Floriana Celtics's Godwin Montesin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Junior Soprano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Barral in the 26th minute of play forced Floriana Celtics's goalkeeper Richard Lentini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisinho Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Lentini having to interfere. The HOSATO★★★★★VKRT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Junior Soprano should have stopped the shot. Richard Lentini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisinho Barral in the 42nd minute. Luisinho Barral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Lentini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisinho Barral to make the kick off. Junior Soprano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kyle Thake showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 83 minute of play. Richard Lentini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão de Alcântara in the 86th minute of play. HOSATO★★★★★VKRT's Junior Soprano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save HOSATO★★★★★VKRT from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betão de Alcântara in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Lentini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The HOSATO★★★★★VKRT fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when HOSATO★★★★★VKRT's Betão de Alcântara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Floriana Celtics players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
