After a defensive mix-up in Sneaky sneeks's zone, Ariel Martinez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Lindsten came out of the goal and Ariel Martinez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pingos Futbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Hans Håkansson scored to the left of an out of position Marcial Licerio, making the score, 1-0. Clemente Matteo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Marcial Licerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Håkansson in the 19th minute. With a little luck, Pingos Futbol Club's Marcial Licerio got control of the ball when Hans Håkansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Holm in the 30th minute of play forced Pingos Futbol Club's goalkeeper Marcial Licerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Lindsten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Ferrer in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Pingos Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Holm came free, but Marcial Licerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Stig-Arne Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Lindsten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Martinez in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Pingos Futbol Club got a corner. Sneaky sneeks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ariel Martinez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Salvador Itzaina almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sneaky sneeks's Martin Lindsten did a great save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Holm to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Pingos Futbol Club's Martin Lindsten threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Clemente Matteo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Sneaky sneeks's Otto Bergfelt got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Hans Håkansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Licerio having to make a save. Marcial Licerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Håkansson in the 56th minute of play. If Ariel Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sneaky sneeks's goalkeeper Martin Lindsten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Hans Håkansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Licerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sneaky sneeks's Otto Bergfelt got a free kick in the 68th minute. Pingos Futbol Club's Ermegildo Haritz was substituted for Honorio Tancredo. After 72 minutes of play, Pingos Futbol Club's Clemente Matteo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Lindsten was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Lindsten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Cefero, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Henry Holm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Licerio was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Sneaky sneeks's Martin Lindsten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Matteo in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Pingos Futbol Club booed when Sneaky sneeks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Nordkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pingos Futbol Club's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 98th minute of the game, when Melchor Salomone after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Sneaky sneeks's goal. Melchor Salomone was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pingos Futbol Club players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
