Marcial Licerio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marcial Licerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ranko Kvarantan in the 9th minute of play. Basilio Jobo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Martinez in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Filomeno Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Licerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pingos Futbol Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arnoldo Orgaz was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlethico Talleres's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ranko Kvarantan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pingos Futbol Club's Marcial Licerio did a great save. 18 minutes into the match, Club Atlethico Talleres's goalkeeper Basilio Jobo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Martinez. The supporters of Club Atlethico Talleres booed when Pingos Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Ranko Kvarantan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Licerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Filomeno Pasqual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Pasqual in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Licerio saved Pingos Futbol Club from getting behind. Marcial Licerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ranko Kvarantan in the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Ranko Kvarantan made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Pingos Futbol Club's Marcial Licerio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcial Licerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ranko Kvarantan in the 41st minute of play. Pingos Futbol Club's Marcial Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ranko Kvarantan in the 47th minute of play. Salvador Itzaina's late challenge caught a Club Atlethico Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Itzaina helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Pingos Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Itzaina. Pingos Futbol Club made a substitution. Faustino Feliu replaced Alejo Osoitz. After 57 played minutes Pingos Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Itzaina. Teodosio Napier made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sixto Odon immediately put the ball in play. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Pasqual's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Licerio was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. If Ariel Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Filomeno Pasqual came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Club Atlethico Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Pasqual couldn't finish the play. Moises Ermengol scored 0-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Licerio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Atlethico Talleres played a much better game than Pingos Futbol Club and deserved their victory. The Pingos Futbol Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
