Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) FC Yupski's Lukas Arts started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Ave Silesia booed when FC Yupski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Arts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobiasz Hajder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karol Modliszewski's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. The audience was convinced that Karol Modliszewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobiasz Hajder was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Tobiasz Hajder came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Ave Silesia's Lukasz Gondela. But to his dismay, Lukasz Gondela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gerald den Hertogh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobiasz Hajder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Modliszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karol Modliszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobiasz Hajder having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Karol Modliszewski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tobiasz Hajder, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Ave Silesia's zone, Lukas Arts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedykt Ziomkowski came out of the goal and Lukas Arts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobiasz Hajder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Okopny in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Gerald den Hertogh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedykt Ziomkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobiasz Hajder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Modliszewski in the 31st minute of the match. Henny de Zeeuw charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henny de Zeeuw the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henny de Zeeuw hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The corner ended in Zygmunt Tyskie almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Yupski's Tobiasz Hajder did a great save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ave Silesia's Benedykt Ziomkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Arts in the 54th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
