Skellerup FC's Stefan-Benjamin Hula got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SV Klingsmoos's Berthold Bach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan-Benjamin Hula in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Torsten Henning had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenn Kuberg. Skellerup FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torsten Henning was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 44 played minutes SV Klingsmoos got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Bejarano. 45 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's Patrick Viera broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Skellerup FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SV Klingsmoos.
