A collision led to Boğazova getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Maxime Maeijnaerts hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes Boğazova got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Dalmau. Abdul Oresanya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Asım Arif Revnak's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Dike Balogun hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes, Boğazova's Maxime Maeijnaerts shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abdul Oresanya came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boğazova reached it. In the 45th minute, Enzo Díaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's Chigo Abdu got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Su Čuk was the one to do the kick off. Boğazova's Erenay Yaltırak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goson Temile in the 63rd minute of play. LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dumetochukwu Obeyera in the 66th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Boğazova's goalie and right to Chibuzo Mmoh. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. In the 96th minute, Boğazova's Aesem Al Azmi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abdul Oresanya. Abdul Oresanya yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The Boğazova supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Boğazova would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
