Rio Blewitt shot from long distance in the 3rd minute, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Luís Eduardo Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moisés Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Johnstone having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Dracena in the 14th minute of play forced The Tigers's goalkeeper Tim Johnstone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes The Tigers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gerson Sarmento who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to The Tigers getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Carl Downes hit a great ball. Luís Eduardo Souza struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Tim Johnstone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haridades F.C. The supporters of The Tigers booed when Haridades F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haridades F.C were furious when Iuri Gonçalves was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Iuri Gonçalves hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Haridades F.C's zone, Frankie Brookes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldinho Pernambucano came out of the goal and Frankie Brookes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Haridades F.C getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gerson Sarmento hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes The Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Frankie Brookes. Luís Eduardo Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tim Johnstone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roberto Siqueira to strike the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Haridades F.C's Ernesto Coelho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tim Johnstone. Tim Johnstone yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Downes in the 65th minute of play forced Haridades F.C's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Ernesto Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haridades F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Coelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronaldinho Pernambucano came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by The Tigers's Owen Noble. But to his dismay, Owen Noble quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Roger Koehler hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of The Tigers booed when Haridades F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phil Clarke took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldinho Pernambucano. Ronaldinho Pernambucano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 82 minutes into the game, Carl Downes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ronaldinho Pernambucano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Carl Downes made a precise shot to the right of Ronaldinho Pernambucano. Haridades F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 94 minutes into the match, Haridades F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Downes came free, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Haridades F.C getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Amílton Moreno hit a great ball. The Tigers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
