Demetrio Savini made a great header on Minho FC's corner, it was just that Tallboda Gunners's Frans Billström managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Linus Stenqvist got free with Zeferino Diegues in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Tallboda Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Aparecido came free, but Frans Billström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Aparecido in the 11th minute of play forced Tallboda Gunners's goalkeeper Frans Billström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Minho FC's Zeferino Diegues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Minho FC from getting a goal against them. After 17 minutes, Magno Aparecido made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tallboda Gunners's Frans Billström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The corner ended in Demetrio Savini almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tallboda Gunners's Frans Billström did a great save. But to his dismay, Magno Aparecido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Magno Aparecido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frans Billström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tallboda Gunners fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! 33 minutes into the match, Tallboda Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Aparecido came free, but Frans Billström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frans Billström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Minho FC's goalkeeper Zeferino Diegues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Linus Stenqvist. The Tallboda Gunners players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Minho FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Linus Stenqvist to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Minho FC's Magno Aparecido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frans Billström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magno Aparecido in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frans Billström saved Tallboda Gunners from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Magno Aparecido made a precise shot to the right of Frans Billström. Tallboda Gunners's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 62ndth minute of the game Magno Aparecido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tallboda Gunners's Frans Billström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Magno Aparecido struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Frans Billström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minho FC. Frans Billström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Aparecido in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Minho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Minho FC made a substitution. Hélder Soveral replaced Magno Aparecido. The supporters of Tallboda Gunners booed when Minho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maicon Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeferino Diegues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Erik Ahlbom in the 71st minute of the match.
