The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maricá FC's goalkeeper Thomás Proença, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thomás Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Avellaneda in the 5th minute of play. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Matias Avellaneda sped through Maricá FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thomás Proença. German Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Thomás Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Matias Avellaneda made a precise shot to the right of Thomás Proença. Maricá FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 18 played minutes Maricá FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Meirelles. In the 19th minute, Informaniaticos's German Brun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 25th minute, Eberhard Pietta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. German Brun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Thomás Proença skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 30 in the game by German Brun from a close distance when the talented Thomás Proença managed to make a qualified save. Maricá FC's players were relieved. After 30th play minutes Matias Avellaneda shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Thomás Proença and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 37th minute Matias Avellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomás Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Avellaneda in the 38th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Informaniaticos's German Brun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thomás Proença. That made the score 5-0 after 39 minutes of play.

Informaniaticos made a substitution. Ramón Menendez replaced Ricky Langdon. Informaniaticos's Jonathan Montel was substituted for German Brun. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cutberto Clemente to strike the kick off in the second half. Matias Avellaneda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Montel in the 58th minute of play forced Maricá FC's goalkeeper Thomás Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomás Proença was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Montel in the 72nd minute of play forced Maricá FC's goalkeeper Thomás Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Montel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomás Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Arnalt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Montel in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomás Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute, Jonathan Montel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomás Proença was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. The corner led Maricá FC's Tomé Sá to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonatan Cloyo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thomás Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Avellaneda in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Avellaneda in the 90th minute of play forced Maricá FC's goalkeeper Thomás Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Avellaneda in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomás Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd match minute, Maricá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Renato Rosado to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Informaniaticos's Adan Arnalt got a free kick in the 96th minute.
