Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julio Baptista kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjetil Christoffersen in the 4th minute of play forced JEC - FC's goalkeeper Carlos Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ku Kost IL's Hans-Erik Isdal got control of the ball when Tarcisio Galvão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tarcisio Galvão in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans-Erik Isdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geovani Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ku Kost IL's Hans-Erik Isdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liu Xiang Zhen in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Ku Kost IL's goalkeeper Hans-Erik Isdal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tarcisio Galvão. After 16 minutes Ku Kost IL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Geovani Garcia who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Liu Xiang Zhen managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hans-Erik Isdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovani Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liu Xiang Zhen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Hans-Erik Isdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ku Kost IL's zone, Julio Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans-Erik Isdal came out of the goal and Julio Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hans-Erik Isdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Geovani Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ku Kost IL's Hans-Erik Isdal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ku Kost IL from getting a goal against them. Carlos Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Holsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Liu Xiang Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjetil Christoffersen to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Johannes Kanestrøm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ku Kost IL and the JEC - FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Johannes Kanestrøm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tarcisio Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the JEC - FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarcisio Galvão couldn't finish the play. Hans-Erik Isdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Garcia in the 55th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjetil Christoffersen during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ku Kost IL's Kjetil Christoffersen got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Hans-Erik Isdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Garcia in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Julio Baptista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans-Erik Isdal. Ku Kost IL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Baptista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 84th minute Kjetil Christoffersen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovani Garcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hans-Erik Isdal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
