With a little luck, Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally got control of the ball when Kong Lin Yu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Janar Arak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rymu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brooklyn SC the free kick. Jospeh McNally showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Mo Wen in the 12th minute of the match. Kong Lin Yu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jospeh McNally made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Jospeh McNally had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kong Lin Yu. Kong Lin Yu scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jospeh McNally, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Beard in the 19th minute of play forced Rymu's goalkeeper Helari Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jospeh McNally made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang Mo Wen in the 21st minute of play. Jospeh McNally showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kong Lin Yu in the 34th minute of the match. Gerardo Beard struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Helari Hunt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brooklyn SC. Jospeh McNally made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang Mo Wen in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rymu defense, Stacy McDonough kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Helari Hunt. The Rymu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Helari Hunt should have stopped the shot. Rymu's Helari Hunt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Beard in the 46th minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Augustin to strike the kick off in the second half. Rymu's Helari Hunt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Rymu from getting a goal against them. Kong Lin Yu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Rymu's Kong Lin Yu got a free kick in the 61st minute. George Potra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Helari Hunt. Rymu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Brooklyn SC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gerardo Beard hit a great ball. Jospeh McNally took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kong Lin Yu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kong Lin Yu in the 67th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Jospeh McNally to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Felix Augustin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helari Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jiang Mo Wen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Rymu's Jiang Mo Wen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jospeh McNally narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Helari Hunt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Augustin, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Jiang Mo Wen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brooklyn SC made a substitution. Walter Spivey replaced Gerardo Beard. Rymu's Silver Särg was substituted for Jiang Mo Wen. 83 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Kong Lin Yu came free, but Jospeh McNally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Rymu were awarded a corner. Lembit Järve went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Brooklyn SC's goalie and right to Tuncay Kutel. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Brooklyn SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Rymu's Silver Särg in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brooklyn SC's goalie prevented a goal. Rymu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
