Fifth Chicken's Sten Granström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eliot Pfingst in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edílson Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 10 minutes into the match, Southern Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Edílson Souza came free, but Eliot Pfingst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Kazimierz Sliwinski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eliot Pfingst. That made the score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. Fifth Chicken's Dobri Koks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Inestrosa in the 44th minute of play. Southern Thrashers's Angelino Ospin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dobri Koks in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edílson Souza to make the kick off. Duncan Hansen hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Edílson Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliot Pfingst. Southern Thrashers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edílson Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Dobri Koks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nurkan Salah, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Fifth Chicken's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Ospin came free, but Dobri Koks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Inestrosa in the 72nd minute of play forced Fifth Chicken's goalkeeper Dobri Koks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliot Pfingst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Tipinski in the 74th minute of the match. Fifth Chicken's Kazimierz Siekierski was substituted for Herbert Bobrowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Tipinski in the 86th minute of play forced Southern Thrashers's goalkeeper Eliot Pfingst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th match minute, Southern Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mieszko Duda to maneuver through the defense.
