Honorato Aznaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miladin Bikarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The supporters of Maritza booed when Habsburgo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Hârșu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willian Pay might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danail Mitzakov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willian Pay ran back to his position shaking his head. After 18 played minutes Maritza got a freekick which was hit by Feliks Chwalkiewicz. After having played for 19 minutes, Willian Pay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Habsburgo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willian Pay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Ramone hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Feliks Chwalkiewicz's late challenge caught a Habsburgo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliks Chwalkiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. Danail Mitzakov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Pay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Willian Pay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danail Mitzakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willian Pay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danail Mitzakov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Maritza's goal looked a bit too open when Willian Pay came free, but Danail Mitzakov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willian Pay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Willian Pay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danail Mitzakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Habsburgo's zone, Marin Nikolkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Aznaro came out of the goal and Marin Nikolkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Maritza defense, Willian Pay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danail Mitzakov. The Maritza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danail Mitzakov should have stopped the shot. 67 minutes into the match, Maritza's Miladin Bikarski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorato Aznaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Habsburgo made a substitution. Sixto Milio replaced Emanuel Hârșu. In the 70th minute Maritza were awarded a corner. Feliks Chwalkiewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. Maritza's Feliks Chwalkiewicz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Honorato Aznaro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 73rd minute Sebastian Froylan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danail Mitzakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorato Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Hubina in the 74th minute of play. Maritza's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Feliks Chwalkiewicz in the 76th minute. After 82 played minutes Maritza got a freekick which was hit by Zapryan Tuparov. 84 minutes into the match, Maritza's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Froylan came free, but Danail Mitzakov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Sixto Milio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danail Mitzakov was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Honorato Aznaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marin Nikolkov in the 90th minute. Nencho Markovski might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorato Aznaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nencho Markovski ran back to his position shaking his head. 93 minutes into the match, Maritza's Miladin Bikarski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorato Aznaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maritza's Danail Mitzakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Lumb in the 95th minute of play. Habsburgo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Maritza for a fine match.
