Chandozos's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Catalan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roderick Oosterhof's late challenge caught a Chandozos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Palmeiras booed when Chandozos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vernon Cryer didn't get a good kick on the ball.
