Åke Bodin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rey Acitores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Augusto Teyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan-Ove Springfält showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Hägele in the 34th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Victor Magnusson in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by GALACTICOS's Elco Vid. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jonstorp FK's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Springfält, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, GALACTICOS's Noel Hägele sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Ove Springfält narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Jonstorp FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GALACTICOS were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Noel Hägele to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Noel Hägele ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Ove Springfält was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Augusto Teyo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Rey Acitores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jonstorp FK. In the 59th minute of the match GALACTICOS got a corner. Jonstorp FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elco Vid ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jonstorp FK's Ludwig Hammarström quite brazenly broke a throw-in by David Râznicu, made in the 60th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, GALACTICOS's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Teyo came free, but Rey Acitores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes in the game Rickard Rosin did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Åke Bodin. Noel Hägele scored 0-5 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Ove Springfält, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Noel Hägele managed to get in a good position for a shot. GALACTICOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Noel Hägele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Ove Springfält breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonstorp FK's Lars Rosén was substituted for Augusto Teyo. Jonstorp FK's Jan-Ove Springfält proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Jonstorp FK from getting a goal against them. Rey Acitores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Rosén, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Jan-Ove Springfält showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Hägele in the 88th minute of the match. If Fredrik Soned had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Rosén in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rey Acitores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GALACTICOS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
