The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C's goal looked a bit too open when Tycho Scolander came free, but Botello Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Botello Pinto made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Tycho Scolander sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Real Matrei FC defense, Jérémy Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Karlsson. The Real Matrei FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Karlsson should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Neycho Sergiev made a precise shot to the right of Christian Karlsson. Real Matrei FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Tycho Scolander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Botello Pinto having to interfere. After some careless play in the Real Matrei FC defense, Xurde Palmero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Karlsson. The Real Matrei FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Karlsson should have stopped the shot. Christian Karlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neycho Sergiev in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gomez Arizabal in the 30th minute of play forced Real Matrei FC's goalkeeper Christian Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes, Neycho Sergiev made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Real Matrei FC's Christian Karlsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Neycho Sergiev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Patrik Björkqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Botello Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Arboleda Baraña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C and the Real Matrei FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Sun Zheng Yang walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 45thth minute of the game Neycho Sergiev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Matrei FC's Christian Karlsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Neycho Sergiev took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Karlsson. Christian Karlsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Neycho Sergiev made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Neycho Sergiev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christian Karlsson. The goal made the score 0-8. In the 57th minute, FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C's Neycho Sergiev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Neycho Sergiev's late challenge caught a Real Matrei FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neycho Sergiev helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Neycho Sergiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C's Ramiro Moise was substituted for Martin Villarin. Neycho Sergiev hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Szczepan Wojtkiewicz scored 0-10 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Karlsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Botello Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Uudikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Vitor Fandoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Karlsson. Real Matrei FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitor Fandoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. In the 76th minute, FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C's Szczepan Wojtkiewicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. Vitor Fandoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Karlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhuo Cheng Jian in the 81st minute of play. Christian Karlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xurde Palmero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Björkqvist in the 86th minute of play forced FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C's goalkeeper Botello Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmine Flamini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Christian Karlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Karlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xurde Palmero, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Christian Karlsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vitor Fandoz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-14 in the 92 minute of play. Real Matrei FC's Christian Karlsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Real Matrei FC from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the game, FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C's Szczepan Wojtkiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Karlsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-15.
