Goth Cloudy Experience's Agostinho Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Haimar in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Mario Marquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.A FÊNIX fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Silvano Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Medeiros in the 14th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Hermínio Lendaa put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Silvano Lohitzun. With a little luck, Goth Cloudy Experience's Agostinho Martins got control of the ball when Elvio Fanuco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Acácio Leal hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Marquez got free with Agostinho Martins in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Goth Cloudy Experience's Luiz Guimarães got a free kick in the 31st minute. 37 minutes into the match, Goth Cloudy Experience's goalkeeper Agostinho Martins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amancio Castulo. Amancio Castulo struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Agostinho Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.A FÊNIX. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Acácio Leal made a kick off. Hermínio Lendaa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Silvano Lohitzun made a huge save. Silvano Lohitzun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Bernardo Dantae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Goth Cloudy Experience getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nelson Medeiros hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, Nelson Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goth Cloudy Experience's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.A FÊNIX the free kick. In the 68th match minute, Goth Cloudy Experience was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 68 minutes, Amancio Castulo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.A FÊNIX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Castulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Haimar charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Haimar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Humberto Haimar kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Silvano Lohitzun came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Goth Cloudy Experience's Hermínio Lendaa. But to his dismay, Hermínio Lendaa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Silvano Lohitzun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Goth Cloudy Experience's Agostinho Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Marquez in the 79th minute of play. Cristo Beti hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Goth Cloudy Experience's Mané Nóbrega tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Hermínio Lendaa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goth Cloudy Experience's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermínio Lendaa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Lohitzun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of A.A FÊNIX booed when Goth Cloudy Experience was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelson Medeiros hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Mario Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Goth Cloudy Experience supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Goth Cloudy Experience would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
