Julio Falcioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Battal Gazi Bey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goal looked a bit too open when Battal Gazi Bey came free, but Julio Falcioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Franky Dhondt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franky Dhondt in the 19th minute of play forced S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper Fran Guerola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Battal Gazi Bey in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Falcioni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the game, Battal Gazi Bey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Falcioni. When Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Franky Dhondt in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 42nd minute, Franky Dhondt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Battal Gazi Bey struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Julio Falcioni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S O B E R A N O CIMZ. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franky Dhondt made a kick off. Franky Dhondt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Fran Guerola skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
