Marcial Estavan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Bouchard in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Herminio Iratze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Fetor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, FÊNIX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Omar Orlan came free, but Damian Fetor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Estavan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Bouchard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Herminio Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Fetor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Herminio Iratze kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damian Fetor. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. In the 23rd minute Bengt Bouchard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Marquinhos Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Marcial Estavan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dagoberto Neila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Damian Fetor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Estavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Teixeira in the 27th minute of the match. Marcial Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Damian Fetor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Orlan in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dagoberto Neila in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Fetor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th match minute, FÊNIX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Kauã Moreno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Estavan having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marquinhos Teixeira in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Estavan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bengt Bouchard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marquinhos Teixeira to strike the kick off in the second half. When Dagoberto Neila came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the INDEPENDIENTE F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dagoberto Neila couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcial Estavan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kauã Moreno. In the 69th minute of the match INDEPENDIENTE F.C. got a corner. FÊNIX F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Omar Orlan ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Ignacio Warnes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Herminio Iratze scored 3-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Fetor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FÊNIX F.C. made a substitution. Oswaldo Vaz replaced Tiago Gabriel Damião. If Omar Orlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Iratze in the 82nd minute of play forced FÊNIX F.C.'s goalkeeper Damian Fetor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute INDEPENDIENTE F.C. were awarded a corner. Omar Orlan went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Marcial Estavan got control of the ball when Marquinhos Teixeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marquinhos Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Marcial Estavan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herminio Iratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Damian Fetor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Dagoberto Neila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Fetor was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. INDEPENDIENTE F.C. fully deserved thier win.
