Elbert Hand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Roberto Moreno in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Ugutz in the 44th minute of play forced Caldebrazza's goalkeeper Alessandro Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuutti Vauhkonen in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessandro Linares saved Caldebrazza from getting behind. The Kultapossukerho fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Kultapossukerho's Nuutti Vauhkonen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Caldebrazza defense, Sixto Ugutz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alessandro Linares. The Caldebrazza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alessandro Linares should have stopped the shot. Kultapossukerho made a substitution. Pietari Jaakkola replaced Nuutti Vauhkonen. Elbert Hand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo Faria in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Zé Roberto Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Kultapossukerho's goalkeeper Elbert Hand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Lucian. In the 79th minute of the match, Xavier Sabrosa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elbert Hand saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Kultapossukerho getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jonni Laaksonen hit a great ball. In the 86thth minute Luís Paulo Faria easily got through Kultapossukerho's defense and fired away a shot, but Elbert Hand leaped left and performed a fabulous save. Alessandro Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pietari Jaakkola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
