The audience was convinced that Czeslaw Kosakowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walmyr Queirós was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Paulo Renato Fernandez was slow to take the kick. During this time Aguinhas's players had a chance to rest. Aguinhas's Walmyr Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Bienienda in the 34th minute of play. Aguinhas's Albérico Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, Wiesenfeld SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iwan Karanowski to maneuver through the defense. After 44 minutes of play, Aguinhas's Albérico Neto made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gwidon Jaworski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute Albérico Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Jaworski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roch Fudalej was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Albérico Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Gwidon Jaworski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With 57 minutes on the clock, Zdzislaw Ryback commited a dangerous tackle. In the 83rdth minute of the game Mazarópi Orange who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wiesenfeld SA's Gwidon Jaworski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gwidon Jaworski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Quadros in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Wiesenfeld SA's zone, Jorge de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gwidon Jaworski came out of the goal and Jorge de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Gilson Quadros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Aguinhas's Mazarópi Orange in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wiesenfeld SA's goalie prevented a goal. Aguinhas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
