Real Juniors's Sebastian Kazczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Kazczyk got free with Carlos Whitmore in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roland Redondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Carlos Whitmore made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Stjohn in the 12th minute of play forced Real Juniors's goalkeeper Alisson Becker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Whitmore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Kazczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Sebastian Kazczyk took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Whitmore. Carlos Whitmore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alisson Becker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Stjohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Sebastian Kazczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute Sebastian Kazczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Whitmore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Kazczyk in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Whitmore saved Quebec city FC from getting behind. In the 30th minute Sebastian Kazczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Whitmore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Sebastian Kazczyk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Quebec city FC's Timmy Newcomb got a free kick in the 36th minute. Sebastian Kazczyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Carlos Whitmore made a huge save. Jerry Dhanabalan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Whitmore having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Kazczyk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Quebec city FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Newcomb to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute Real Juniors were awarded a corner. Jerry Dhanabalan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Yonko Tarchev got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-0. 55 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Real Juniors's Sebastian Kazczyk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Whitmore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Carlos Whitmore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Redondo in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Real Juniors booed when Quebec city FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradley Boisvert didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Sebastian Kazczyk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Whitmore. Quebec city FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Kazczyk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Real Juniors made a substitution. Ahmet Efe Suheyl replaced Sebastian Kazczyk. Real Juniors's Enzo Fernandes was substituted for Claudio Cabrera. Carlos Whitmore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 78th minute of play. Quebec city FC's Carlos Whitmore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 79th minute of play. After 83 minutes, Newton Dennison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebec city FC and the Real Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Quebec city FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Newton Dennison hit a great ball. Carlos Whitmore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Efe Suheyl's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Whitmore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Real Juniors were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Quebec city FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jerry Dhanabalan took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Yonko Tarchev heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Carlos Whitmore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 96 minutes on the clock, Boruc Zdanowicz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Boruc Zdanowicz hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Newton Dennison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quebec city FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Newton Dennison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
