When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Gianluca Scamacca sped through Karpaty Krosno's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patryk Nienajadlo. 42 minutes into the game, Gianluca Scamacca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Patryk Nienajadlo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gianluca Scamacca got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zygmunt Mochowak to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Walery Kazczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karpaty Krosno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walery Kazczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guilherme Souza during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Karpaty Krosno getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Guilherme Souza hit a great ball. Karpaty Krosno's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stig Rødal ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Gianluca Scamacca put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Patryk Nienajadlo. In the 70th minute, Przemyslaw Prusinowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Claude Makélélé hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Stig Rødal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patryk Nienajadlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Scamacca in the 76th minute of the match. Karpaty Krosno's Zygmunt Mochowak got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Birrell Watman hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute of the match Karpaty Krosno got a corner. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zygmunt Mochowak ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Karpaty Krosno's Zygmunt Mochowak to fire away a dangerous shot which Gustaw Fafinski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Slawomir Wojciechowski hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 89 minutes, Gianluca Scamacca made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Karpaty Krosno's Patryk Nienajadlo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute Gianluca Scamacca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Nienajadlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gianluca Scamacca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patryk Nienajadlo was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
