Allan Shearer started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Allan Shearer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patryk Nienajadlo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Karpaty Krosno booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Comișel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stasio Skoroda hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cédric Payen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patryk Nienajadlo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Minerul Baita -MM- reached it. Allan Shearer took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patryk Nienajadlo. Patryk Nienajadlo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Przemyslaw Prusinowski during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Przemyslaw Prusinowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Allan Shearer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patryk Nienajadlo was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Ciprian Alexe scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patryk Nienajadlo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Minerul Baita -MM- were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zygmunt Mochowak to strike the kick off in the second half. Fryderyk Kostka took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nistor Maghiar. Nistor Maghiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. If Zygmunt Mochowak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nistor Maghiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Przemyslaw Prusinowski in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Shearer got free with Patryk Nienajadlo in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patryk Nienajadlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Shearer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Cédric Payen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Patryk Nienajadlo, 1-4. With a little luck, Karpaty Krosno's Patryk Nienajadlo got control of the ball when Qiu Wei Ting tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zygmunt Mochowak made a great header on Karpaty Krosno's corner, it was just that Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar managed to reach the ball for a save.
