Lechuguitas F.C.'s Gianluca Pagliuca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Paez in the 20th minute of play. Gianluca Pagliuca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Augusto Johans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Lechuguitas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Paez came free, but Gianluca Pagliuca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gianluca Pagliuca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Liher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apolo Paez to make the kick off. In the 58th minute Luisito Liher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluca Pagliuca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorian Moraes got free with Gianluca Pagliuca in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, Lechuguitas F.C.'s goalkeeper Gianluca Pagliuca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorian Moraes. After 65 minutes, Augusto Johans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lechuguitas F.C. and the Aguirres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Lechuguitas F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Johans to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Dorian Moraes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gianluca Pagliuca. That made the score 0-6 in the 67 minute of play. The Aguirres fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Aguirres's Dorian Moraes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. When Eduardo Jerano in the 77th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Gianluca Pagliuca kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-8 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Adolfo Goyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luisito Koldo fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguirres's protests and gave Luisito Koldo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Luisito Koldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lechuguitas F.C.'s Gianluca Pagliuca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Lechuguitas F.C. from getting a goal against them. Luisito Liher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Gianluca Pagliuca made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Lechuguitas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Jerano came free, but Gianluca Pagliuca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
