The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gilberto Illart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Leon Meyer made a huge save. Gualterio Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Gilberto Illart got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Illart got free with Leon Meyer in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robin ten Rouwelaar hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Niceto Illan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Deiman, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 31st play minute Candido Tonete came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leon Meyer. 1-0. Leon Meyer stood somewhat misplaced when Gilberto Illart came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 37 minute. The supporters of Zijdewind SC booed when Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Orkatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Illart to make the kick off. When Marcel Luirink fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zijdewind SC's protests and gave Marcel Luirink a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, one of Zijdewind SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zijdewind SC. 4-0 became the score in the 62nd minute when Ildefonso Richie elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Leon Meyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Daniël De Leeuw kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Temperley's Candido Tonete got a free kick in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ildefonso Richie in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Meyer saved Zijdewind SC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Ildefonso Richie sped through Zijdewind SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leon Meyer. The supporters of Temperley booed when Zijdewind SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Luirink didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79th play minutes Kaapo Mastropiero shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Leon Meyer and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 85th minute, Kaapo Mastropiero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leon Meyer was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Temperley walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
