The audience was convinced that Gregorio Montez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hipolito Rico was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the game, Russówek's Gregorio Montez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hipolito Rico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Montez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hipolito Rico was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Gregorio Montez took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Rico. Hipolito Rico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Russówek's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Abecia came free, but Daniel Kieca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Black Mamba defense, Gregorio Montez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hipolito Rico. The Black Mamba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hipolito Rico should have stopped the shot. Gregorio Montez might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hipolito Rico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Montez ran back to his position shaking his head. Hipolito Rico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Montez in the 21st minute of the match. Gregorio Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Black Mamba's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Montez came free, but Hipolito Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute of the game Henrique Laguna made a throw-in which Verne Everett played forward. Russówek's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Traczewski in the 30th minute. Russówek's Edward Traczewski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hipolito Rico in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Russówek's Daniel Kieca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verne Everett in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Mamba's goalkeeper Hipolito Rico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Black Mamba's Alex Qvalfeldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Kieca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregorio Montez in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hipolito Rico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Black Mamba's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Traczewski was slow to take the kick. During this time Russówek's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Black Mamba's goalie and right to Salvador Quezada. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Black Mamba's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Bergvall to make the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Gregorio Montez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Mamba's Hipolito Rico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Russówek's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Traczewski in the 57th minute. The corner led Russówek's Edward Traczewski to fire away a dangerous shot which Hipolito Rico despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Black Mamba's Henrique Laguna got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Henrique Laguna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Rico was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Jakub Gdowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jakub Gdowski really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Hipolito Rico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Gdowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Bergvall struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Daniel Kieca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Mamba. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaw Tomporowski got free with Hipolito Rico in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jakub Gdowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hipolito Rico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jakub Gdowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Russówek made a substitution. Ryszard Skonieczny replaced Salvador Quezada. Russówek's Zbigniew Zabrzeski was substituted for Gustaw Tomporowski. Danilo Lizer hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Zbigniew Zabrzeski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hipolito Rico. Black Mamba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Kieca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verne Everett in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Russówek's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After taking down the ball on Russówek's corner Zbigniew Zabrzeski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hipolito Rico quite easily take care of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Russówek eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
