The audience was convinced that Mustafa Cumhur Çeliktaş's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustaw Kosmatka was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Karaelmas defense, Cyprian Gizynski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yetkin Osmanoğulları. The Karaelmas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yetkin Osmanoğulları should have stopped the shot. Karaelmas's attentive Mehmet Emre Orkutay managed to snatch the ball when Grzegorz Wyrostek made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Yetkin Osmanoğulları made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulryk Gizynski in the 25th minute. Ulu Afacan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match, Wawrzyniec Bielecki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yetkin Osmanoğulları was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jaroslaw Juszkowski hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Bora Han Irmak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustaw Kosmatka. Karpaty Krosno's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gustaw Kosmatka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th play minute Marcin Galaska came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Yetkin Osmanoğulları. 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
