In the 22nd minute, one of Cercadinho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cercadinho. The referee gave Karaelmas a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eser Armağan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cercadinho's Mugurel Zota. 0-1. Karaelmas's Yetkin Osmanoğulları proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Karaelmas from getting a goal against them. Mugurel Zota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Cumhur Çeliktaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yetkin Osmanoğulları having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when William de Castro got free with Yetkin Osmanoğulları in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Walmir Pirani almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Karaelmas's Yetkin Osmanoğulları did a great save. William de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Yetkin Osmanoğulları tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William de Castro came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yetkin Osmanoğulları could save by the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William de Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yetkin Osmanoğulları showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulkadir Turay, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Karaelmas's Slobodan Bokovac got a free kick in the 59th minute. Cercadinho's Jailson Mazza was substituted for Luisinho Vinhas. A collision led to Karaelmas getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Slobodan Bokovac hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Mustafa Cumhur Çeliktaş notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cercadinho's Mugurel Zota. Mugurel Zota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karaelmas's Atabey İkbal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edmundo Aparecido in the 68 minute of the game. The throw-in from Edmundo Aparecido in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Karaelmas's Atabey İkbal. If Mustafa Cumhur Çeliktaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mugurel Zota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eser Armağan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th match minute, Cercadinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Bergqvist to maneuver through the defense. Walmir Pirani might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yetkin Osmanoğulları. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walmir Pirani ran back to his position shaking his head. Yetkin Osmanoğulları came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Cercadinho's William de Castro. But to his dismay, William de Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Cercadinho fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Karaelmas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
