The audience was convinced that José Maria Pena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Khodadad Khan was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when José Maria Pena sped through Terra Scaniae's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Khodadad Khan. In the 17th minute, Frans Hedling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Maria Pena in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khodadad Khan saved Terra Scaniae from getting behind. Francesco Briceño struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Khodadad Khan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D. Imperial. When Frans Hedling fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terra Scaniae's protests and gave Frans Hedling a yellow card for diving instead. Frans Hedling hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-4 when José Maria Pena sped through Terra Scaniae's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Khodadad Khan. Khodadad Khan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akis Bouzios, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Francesco Briceño might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khodadad Khan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francesco Briceño ran back to his position shaking his head. Oscar Näfver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Valeri Zabelin made a huge save. In the 37th minute, Akis Bouzios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.D. Imperial fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 41stth minute of the game José Maria Pena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Terra Scaniae's Khodadad Khan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that José Maria Pena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Khodadad Khan was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. A.D. Imperial's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Clemente Massa in the 46th minute. A nice corner shot did that Clemente Massa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Khodadad Khan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Maria Pena made a kick off. Khodadad Khan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Clemente Massa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Terra Scaniae's Khodadad Khan did a great save. José Maria Pena succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. Dadá Maravilhas short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Khodadad Khan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 61st minute, Dadá Maravilha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dadá Maravilha in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Khodadad Khan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The corner led A.D. Imperial's Clemente Massa to fire away a dangerous shot which Khodadad Khan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Valeri Zabelin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Näfver in the 66th minute of the match. Valeri Zabelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Gunnarsson in the 68th minute of play. Terra Scaniae's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anders Lingren in the 69th minute. The corner ended in Anders Lingren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.D. Imperial's Valeri Zabelin did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Dadá Maravilha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Khodadad Khan. That made the score 0-7 in the 74 minute of play. Khodadad Khan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dadá Maravilha's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Khodadad Khan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Smith went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. A.D. Imperial made a substitution. Alex Corrêa replaced Antônio Ramalho. 89 minutes into the game, Dadá Maravilha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Khodadad Khan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 94 minutes, Alexander Smith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D. Imperial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Smith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Oscar Näfver cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-9. Valeri Zabelin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A.D. Imperial's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
