Claudinho Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiao Qi Bo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After having played for 6 minutes, Quique Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gliwicka Torcida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quique Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grzegorz Wielowiejski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19th play minutes Qiao Qi Bo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Claudinho Taffarel and just under the crossbar into goal. Gliwicka Torcida's Fabian Bator was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fabian Bator sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Gliwicka Torcida's goal looked a bit too open when Octav Chificeac came free, but Claudinho Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiao Qi Bo in the 30th minute of play forced Gliwicka Torcida's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when 肖树鸿 came free, but Kristian Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grzegorz Wielowiejski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kristian Martinsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. It was a well-played corner which Fabian Bator managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd rose to their feet as Gliwicka Torcida's Pawel Turok slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kristian Martinsson. That made the score 2-1 after 35 minutes of play. 40 minutes into the match, Gliwicka Torcida's goal looked a bit too open when Dion Hodge came free, but Claudinho Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Kristian Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quique Moreno in the 41st minute of play. Kristian Martinsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Bator went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. If Fabian Bator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fabian Bator made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Quique Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fenerbahçe S.K. booed when Gliwicka Torcida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwan Pankowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Claudinho Taffarel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kristian Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawel Turok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Gliwicka Torcida's Fabian Bator sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristian Martinsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Kristian Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Bator in the 58th minute of play. Claudinho Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qiao Qi Bo in the 59th minute. Claudinho Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Dion Hodge sent off a good shot on target. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gliwicka Torcida reached it. Kristian Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Bator in the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Gliwicka Torcida got a freekick which was hit by Karol Chrobak. With a little luck, Gliwicka Torcida's Claudinho Taffarel got control of the ball when Qiao Qi Bo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Bator in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristian Martinsson saved Fenerbahçe S.K. from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Fabian Bator's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristian Martinsson was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. A collision led to Gliwicka Torcida getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Iwan Pankowski hit a great ball.
