In the 3rd match minute, Heider FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horst Kloss to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 2-0 when André Silva sped through Heider FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Burkhard Wolf. A collision led to Heider FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lemmy Sylvester hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Wolf Erkiner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heider FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wolf Erkiner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, André Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yolo's supporters rose to their feet, but André Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Burkhard Wolf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29thth minute of the game Wawrzyniec Kissel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heider FC's Burkhard Wolf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Silva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Burkhard Wolf when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lemmy Sylvester hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Heider FC's Burkhard Wolf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Heider FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Yolo's André Silva got a free kick in the 34th minute. Burkhard Wolf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38thth minute of the game André Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heider FC's Burkhard Wolf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute Wolf Erkiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wieslaw Dec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Burkhard Wolf stood somewhat misplaced when André Silva came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 42 minute. A hard shot 45 in the game by André Silva from a close distance when the talented Burkhard Wolf managed to make a qualified save. Heider FC's players were relieved. When Wolf Erkiner came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Heider FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wolf Erkiner couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horst Kloss stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maarten De Malier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Silva in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Burkhard Wolf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Yolo's André Silva in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Heider FC's goalie prevented a goal. André Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60thth minute of the game André Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heider FC's Burkhard Wolf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Yolo getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cristinel Iurea hit a great ball. If Wolf Erkiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wawrzyniec Kissel in the 66th minute of play forced Heider FC's goalkeeper Burkhard Wolf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Yolo fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Yolo's André Silva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Yolo's Claudio Spagnuolo got a free kick in the 74th minute. Burkhard Wolf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wawrzyniec Kissel's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Cristinel Iurea charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristinel Iurea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristinel Iurea kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Yolo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
