Joystick XXXV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saiko FC the free kick. A collision led to Joystick XXXV getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Norberto Otsando hit a great ball. Basilio Fidensio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Gonçalves in the 38th minute of the match. When Vinicio Perico fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joystick XXXV's protests and gave Vinicio Perico a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Vinicio Perico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basilio Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Gonçalves in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Delmar Henric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Henric in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vinicio Perico to strike the kick off in the second half.
