In the 10th minute Victoriano Iraunkor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Godfredo Elazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarbas Marques. União Agrícola Barbarense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godfredo Elazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Carlinhos Galvão fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored União Agrícola Barbarense's protests and gave Carlinhos Galvão a yellow card for diving instead. During the 18th minute of the match Carlinhos Galvão completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carlinhos Galvão a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Elazar in the 21st minute of play forced União Agrícola Barbarense's goalkeeper Jarbas Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes, Francisco Bezerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the União Agrícola Barbarense and the Pitman FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes União Agrícola Barbarense got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Bezerra. Victoriano Iraunkor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind União Agrícola Barbarense's goalkeeper Jarbas Marques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Victoriano Iraunkor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarbas Marques was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Jarbas Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Elazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With a little luck, União Agrícola Barbarense's Jarbas Marques got control of the ball when Victoriano Iraunkor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jarbas Marques yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Godfredo Elazar took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Jarbas Marques to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Gabi Milito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jarbas Marques. That made the score 0-7 in the 84 minute of play. Gabi Milito took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarbas Marques. Jarbas Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. In the 90th minute, Pitman FC's Sebastean Gentiletti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. If Victoriano Iraunkor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarbas Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastean Gentiletti, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Pitman FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
