The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tolunay Makbul hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Damien Blake got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Jake Thorn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abdulmelik Kutlubay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harvey Smith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batıkan Sarper in the 27th minute of play. With his leg Harvey Smith managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when !!!SERDİVAN REVISION CLUP's Serkan Batıhan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Harvey Smith got control of the ball when Serkan Batıhan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Serkan Batıhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harvey Smith was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Ethan Stiles put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fazıl Hüsnü Erandaç. In the 43rd minute, Enis Boyraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Batıkan Sarper made a kick off. !!!SERDİVAN REVISION CLUP's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Göktuğ Öztekin in the 52nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Abdulmelik Kutlubay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Harvey Smith quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tony Froggatt hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serkan Batıhan in the 55th minute of play forced FC Shakhtar Donetsk's goalkeeper Harvey Smith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Serkan Batıhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harvey Smith. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serkan Batıhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Fazıl Hüsnü Erandaç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damien Blake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doug Holyfield received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fazıl Hüsnü Erandaç came out and tried to block the shot, but Doug Holyfield slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 59th minute. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Harvey Smith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batıkan Sarper in the 63rd minute of play. If Abdulmelik Kutlubay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Serkan Batıhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Smith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batıkan Sarper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Smith having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Serkan Batıhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fazıl Hüsnü Erandaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damien Blake in the 85th minute of the match. Serkan Batıhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Harvey Smith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When !!!SERDİVAN REVISION CLUP's Serkan Batıhan in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Shakhtar Donetsk's goalie prevented a goal. Toby Morgan hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Toby Morgan got a free kick in the 94th minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Batıkan Sarper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. !!!SERDİVAN REVISION CLUP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batıkan Sarper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chants of FC Shakhtar Donetsk echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as !!!SERDİVAN REVISION CLUP had held the ball for most of the match.
