Surahammar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marc Bouman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Surahammar's Adrian Kodzhabashev got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Gustaw Fudalej sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Lindström skillfully saved the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Surahammar's Victor Santxol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddy Luirink narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Surahammar's Victor Santxol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eddy Luirink. That made the score 3-1 after 17 minutes of play. Eddy Luirink made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Victor Santxol sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Santxol got free with Eddy Luirink in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Gustaw Fudalej notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Surahammar's Jan Lindström. Jan Lindström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Surahammar's Eddy Luirink threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Radamel Oakley, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Victor Santxol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surahammar's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Santxol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddy Luirink breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eddy Luirink made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vincent Benett in the 37th minute. 楚超潮's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Lindström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
