Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mikael Meck started the match with the kick off. Moisés Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mårten Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Cenap İğdemir took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ronny Westerberg to make any attempt to save it. 17 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Mårten Abrahamsson came free, but Moisés Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Mikael Meck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Melchester Rovers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Melchester Rovers's Mikael Meck got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melchester Rovers's Ronny Westerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Zanette in the 31st minute of play. Ronny Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cenap İğdemir in the 34th minute of the match. Moisés Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Meck, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Melchester Rovers's Ronny Westerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Lara in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match Melchester Rovers got a corner. JFSP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hans Svensson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Melchester Rovers's corner Ian Ekenberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Moisés Novaes quite easily take care of the ball. Brian Strömberg's late challenge caught a JFSP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brian Strömberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Melchester Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes Cenap İğdemir scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Ronny Westerberg who was too lazy, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ronny Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baykal Yanal in the 53rd minute of the match. JFSP's Moisés Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save JFSP from getting a goal against them. Moisés Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Meck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Baykal Yanal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronny Westerberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 60 played minutes JFSP got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Dalberg. JFSP made a substitution. Adalberto Cruz replaced Roberto Pato. After 70 played minutes JFSP got a freekick which was hit by Cenap İğdemir. Moisés Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Meck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Melchester Rovers booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moisés Novaes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Ekenberg in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute of the game Horácio Souto made a throw-in which Luiz Eduardo Lara played forward. Ian Ekenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Maurício Pires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JFSP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melchester Rovers the free kick. Maurício Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Ian Ekenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. JFSP's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
