In the 14th minute, William Rigg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Valar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 17th minute, The Valar's William Rigg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nikos Tournas. Nikos Tournas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, William Rigg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nikos Tournas, 3-0. In the 24th minute Manwë Vala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Tournas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Valar's William Rigg got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Dhafnospiliá BC from getting a goal against them. Nikos Tournas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Hajto in the 32nd minute of play. The Valar's Elias Mambru was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nikos Tournas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 35th minute The Valar were awarded a corner. Alfred Hajto went to the cornerflag to take it. Nikos Tournas had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Alfred Hajto's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A hard shot 38 in the game by William Rigg from a close distance when the talented Nikos Tournas managed to make a qualified save. Dhafnospiliá BC's players were relieved. 41 minutes into the game, William Rigg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nikos Tournas. William Rigg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. 44 minutes into the match, Dhafnospiliá BC's goal looked a bit too open when William Rigg came free, but Nikos Tournas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, William Rigg made a precise shot to the right of Nikos Tournas. Dhafnospiliá BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Nikos Tournas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William Rigg went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Dhafnospiliá BC defense, Alfred Hajto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikos Tournas. The Dhafnospiliá BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikos Tournas should have stopped the shot. After 61 minutes of play, The Valar's Codruț Uncheşu made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikos Tournas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Valar made a substitution. Cristian Ozon replaced Codruț Uncheşu. Thomas Chatzichristos hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, The Valar's Alfred Hajto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 78th minute William Rigg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Tournas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dhafnospiliá BC's Mariusz Poreda got a free kick in the 79th minute. Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Rigg in the 83rd minute of play. William Rigg took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikos Tournas. Nikos Tournas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. In the 93rd minute William Rigg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Tournas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in The Valar's zone, Petros Kalivrousis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emmanuel Canturri came out of the goal and Petros Kalivrousis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
