With 11 minutes on the clock, Normando Portillo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Westra Aros SK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Normando Portillo hit a great ball. If Gabriel Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stefan Söder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Cambiasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Stefan Söder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubaldo Cambiasso went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marciano Cambiasso in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Söder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Westra Aros SK's Roberto Baggio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anibal Cambiasso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marciano Cambiasso in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Söder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute, Ola Askstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hokky Snoobar kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Roberto Baggio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Söder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Cambiasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes, Marciano Cambiasso made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Westra Aros SK's Stefan Söder tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35thth minute of the game Joaquin Cambiasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westra Aros SK's Stefan Söder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When BAIRES's Marciano Cambiasso in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. One of Westra Aros SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BAIRES:s goal. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for BAIRES. Joaquin Cambiasso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stefan Söder. 0-4. Ubaldo Cambiasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Baggio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. BAIRES's Anibal Cambiasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Baggio in the 51st minute of play. In the 58th minute Genaro Cambiasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Söder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Håkan Söderberg charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Håkan Söderberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Håkan Söderberg hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Baggio in the 72nd minute of play forced BAIRES's goalkeeper Anibal Cambiasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anibal Cambiasso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Baggio went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Marciano Cambiasso took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Stefan Söder to make any attempt to save it. Stefan Söder was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Genaro Cambiasso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 81 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as BAIRES's Genaro Cambiasso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stefan Söder. That made the score 1-7 after 86 minutes of play. In the 90th minute, BAIRES's Joaquin Cambiasso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. Westra Aros SK's Stefan Söder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Cambiasso in the 95th minute of play. The Westra Aros SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BAIRES were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
