The audience was convinced that Marciano Cambiasso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Pueblo was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Matai got free with Anibal Cambiasso in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marciano Cambiasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Pueblo having to interfere. Cosme Sansone kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Higinio Pueblo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Cambiasso in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marciano Cambiasso in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Pueblo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. BAIRES's Anibal Cambiasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tião Alcântara in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Opilano got free with Anibal Cambiasso in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Tião Alcântara put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Anibal Cambiasso. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marciano Cambiasso in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Pueblo saved Yucatan F.C. from getting behind. With a little luck, Yucatan F.C.'s Higinio Pueblo got control of the ball when Andres Cambiasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, BAIRES's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Opilano came free, but Anibal Cambiasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, BAIRES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Duarte to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to BAIRES getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gabriel Duarte hit a great ball. In the 78th minute Apolo Opilano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Cambiasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes of play, Yucatan F.C.'s Benicio Loiola made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anibal Cambiasso was left in no man's land by his defense there! BAIRES's Anibal Cambiasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Opilano in the 84th minute of play. Yucatan F.C. were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after BAIRES's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan Gabriel took the corner. The corner led Yucatan F.C.'s Juan Gabriel to fire away a dangerous shot which Anibal Cambiasso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 88th match minute, Yucatan F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Lugo to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd match minute, BAIRES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Cambiasso to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd match minute, Yucatan F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Gartzen to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute of the match, Marciano Cambiasso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Higinio Pueblo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. There was no doubt that Yucatan F.C. were the better team. Yucatan F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
